FAQ Frequently asked questions
How do I update my token's metadata?
Connect the wallet that holds the update authority, paste the token's mint address, then edit the name, symbol, logo and description and approve. The change is written to the on-chain Metaplex metadata.
Where will the changes show up?
Everywhere that reads the token's on-chain metadata — wallets like Phantom and Solflare, and explorers like Solscan. Each one can take a little while to refresh its cache after the update.
Who can edit the metadata?
Only the wallet set as the update authority on the token — no one else can. If the update authority has been revoked, the metadata is frozen and can't be changed. Coinjet is non-custodial and the change is signed from your own wallet.
