Transfer ownership
Hand ownership to a new wallet (multisig, DAO, team…). The new owner gains full onlyOwner control.
Sending ownership to 0x…dEaD is how you renounce it: nobody holds the key to that address, so the owner functions can never be called again.

FAQ Frequently asked questions
How do I revoke ownership of my token?
Connect the owner wallet, paste the contract address, then confirm the renounce transaction. Ownership is transferred to the zero address, so the contract has no owner afterward.
What happens after I renounce?
No one can call owner-only functions again — no minting, fee changes, pausing or blacklisting. It's a common way to prove to holders that the token can no longer be changed, and the renounce is verifiable on-chain.
Can ownership be restored?
No. Renouncing is permanent and irreversible — once the owner is the zero address there is no key that can take it back. Make every owner change you still need (fees, limits, and so on) before you renounce. Works on any ownable contract across the EVM networks we support.
